Sheryl Alstrin’s unique approach to the wine business has played a key role in the success of Northwest Core Collection. Responsible for the day to day operations and finances of the business Sheryl brings a distinctive skill set and refreshing approach to wine sales.

Sheryl earned a degree in Marketing from Arizona State University and began her professional career in the financial services industry in Arizona and later in Australia. While focusing her professional efforts in the marketing field Sheryl found her true calling in training and development.

For the last 10 years Sheryl has been successfully focused on sales training and working with sales teams to become more efficient and effective. Sheryl’s corporate experience also includes a focus on process improvement, leadership training/coaching and train-the-trainer, working with top companies across the country including Coca-Cola, Wal-Mart and Reuters.

Sheryl has added an insightful training and process improvement focus to Northwest Core Collection's ability to move wine through the national distribution network. Working closely with the sales team and wineries Sheryl has been able to evaluate processes while utilizing her professional and interpersonal skills.

While Sheryl is an active partner in NWCC, she remains committed to the training industry. She currently serves on the board for the Oregon based American Society of Training & Development and is often referred to as a professional reference by her colleagues.

Sheryl enjoys the outdoors and has spent most of the summer training for her Fall hike in the Grand Canyon. Her daily training routine includes time at the gym but her biggest workout is chasing her two personal trainers 7 year old son Isaac and 5 year old daughter Nicole.
