Our Team

Michelle Cove has covered all levels of wine distribution, from the lowly (but much appreciated!) intern through supplier sales and a street-level distribution job.

Her position with Young’s helped her build the street skills for this next step in her career. Prior to working with Young’s, Michelle was the GM at Claiborne & Churchill for 4 and half years and worked at Talley Vineyards for 2 years. Life on the supplier side taught her a lot about juggling events, sales calls, and wine releases – all while making sure the customers and winery were both still happy.

She has also worked up the ranks with Northwest Core, starting with us in May 2008 as a sales associate for CA and TX. As the extra feet on the street in both Texas and California, she helped the regional managers for those markets by doing extra work-withs and events. In the summer of 2009 she took the opportunity to move across the country to sell our portfolio of Northwest wines in the Northeast. In 2010, Michelle moved back to her home state of CA to cover the Southwest region for NW Core.

When she’s not on the streets with her wine bag, Michelle will be exploring her new town and hopefully participating the in one other sport she loves just as much as selling: soccer.
